So I have been waiting in anticipation of yet another smart phone? Why you might ask? Well from a developer standpoint developing for Microsofts new windows phone 7 will be extremely easy for me. I have two production Silverlight 4 applications out there in the wild now and developing for Windows Phone 7 using Silverlight is such an easy and transferrable skill.
I have tried my hand at some of the other mobile platforms, like Android, and iOS and found the ramp up heavy on the development side. Not so heavy that I couldn’t do it, but like any new tools it just took time, and hey as we all know it is sometime hard to get that level of motivation going! So the launch is coming soon and I cannot wait to see if this phone gets some traction out there, because if it does I know I will enjoy developing for it and can’t wait to release a few of the things I have been working on. Like the iPhone AT&T has the first crack at it so we will see how that works out as well.
